Fed: Sheep disease "would cost $60mln if controls removed"

CANBERRA, Feb 9 AAP - The total cost to the sheep industry of Ovine Johne's disease
(OJD) would be about $60 million if current control measures were removed, the government
said today.

An Australian Bureau of Agriculture and Resource Economics (ABARE) has issued a review
on the economic implications of a number of management options for the disease.
